Louisville made a remarkable run over the last two days to move within 17 shots of Georgia Tech, who won with a three-round score of 809. After firing a 283 after the first round, the Cardinals responded with a tournament-low round of 269 and a 274 on Wednesday to finish with an 826. Arizona State was second with a score of 824.
Junior Robin Sciot-Siegrist had his best tournament by firing a 13-under par to finish in a tie for seventh overall. He shot 66-65-72=203. It was the third-best tournament total in school history. Robert Geibel shot a 201 in the same tournament a year ago.
Antoine LeSaux tied for 13th overall after shooting 73-69-65=207, while Max Walz tied for 15th overall after shooting an 8-under par 72-68-68=208. Geibel fired a 4-under par 72-67-73=212 to place 24th and J.D. Lehman tied for 42nd after shooting 77-70-69=216.
