Stiefelmeyer and Wagner Win Consolation Finals

DURHAM, N.C. - The University of Louisville's Sebastian Stiefelmeyer won the consolation bracket of the Black Division and Albert Wagner won the consolation bracket of the Blue Division while Chris Simich finished runner-up in the consolation bracket of the White Division at the Duke Fab Four Invitational Sunday.
After falling in the opening round of play, Stiefelmeyer won four straight matches including Sunday's 6-2, 6-4 win over Duke's TJ Pura in finals of the back draw. Wagner also strung four wins together after his first round loss culminating in a 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 win over Duke's Cale Hammond in the final.
Simich went 3-2 in the tournament and finished runner-up after falling 6-4, 6-4 to VCU's Jean Baptiste Mateo in the consolation finals.
