
No. 19 Rowing Set for 2013 BIG EAST Championship

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The 19th-ranked Louisville rowing team travels to West Windsor, N.J., for the 2013 BIG EAST Championship on Sunday at Mercer Lake.
The Cardinals will be one of seven teams competing in the conference championship with the winning squad earning the league's automatic bid into the 2013 NCAA Championship set for May 31-June 2 in Indianapolis, Ind. Preliminary races will begin at 8 a.m., ET with the first final scheduled for 11 a.m.
Louisville is the No. 2 seed in the event while 11th-ranked Notre Dame is the No. 1 seed in the event. Syracuse is the No. 3 seed and is followed by No. 4 Georgetown, No. 5 Rutgers, No. 6 Connecticut and No. 7 Villanova. The BIG EAST Championship will feature races in the varsity eight, second varsity eight, varsity four, second varsity four and third varsity four.
