
Men's Golf Stands in Fourth Place at Purdue Invitational

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The University of Louisville men's golf team had two top 10 finishers at the opening day of the Boilermaker Invitational on Saturday.
Robin Sciot-Siegrist fired a 2-under par 71-71=142 to stand in fourth-place overall after the first two rounds of action, while Antoine LeSaux is even after carding 71-73=144 and is in a tie for eighth.
The Cardinlals shot 295 (+7) and 292 (+4) to wrap up the day in fourth place, just 10 shots behind Iowa, which leads with 577.
Max Walz tied for 27th overall when he carded 77-72=149, while Gus Lundquist is tied for 58th after shooting 76-80=156. Charlie Macneal rounded out the day for the Cardinals by sitting in a tie for 66th place after firing 81-76=157.
Officials anticipate a frost delay on Sunday that will likely push the start of the final round back until 9:30 a.m. ET. Live scoring will once again be available via golfstatresults.com.
