
Women's Swimming Equals Program Best at NCAAs

Sophomore Tanja Kylliainen finished eighth in the 200-fly at the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at the Indiana Natatorium on the campus of the IUPUI in Indianapolis. The Cardinals finished 22nd overall as a team, equalling the best team performance in the program's history.
Qualifying at 1:54.33, Kylliainen touched in 1:57.22 in the final event for the Cardinals at the Championships and earned All-American status.
The Cardinal 400-relay team of Kelsi Worrell (48.09), Krissie Brandenburg (50.07), Grite Apanaviciute (49.97) and McDowell (49.01) combine to post a 3:17.95 to finish 18th.
