INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Head of the Eagle regatta scheduled for Saturday at Eagle Creek Park was cancelled due to high winds.
The event will not be rescheduled. The Louisville rowing team was slated to have a full squad of 75 rowers, both varsity and novice, competing at the same venue that will host the 2014 NCAA Rowing Championship.
Up next, the Cardinals are scheduled to complete the fall portion of their 2013-14 schedule at the Rivanna Romp hosted by the University of Virginia on Nov. 17 in Charlottesville, Va.
