
Field Hockey's Turner Earns Academic All-District Honors

The University of Louisville's Hayley Turner was selected to the Capital One CoSIDA Academic All-District II at-large team - she is now eligible for Academic All-America consideration.
To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
Turner is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Education and Community Health after graduation Magna Cum Laude with Bachelor's degree in public health education in May 2011. She is also a four-time National Field Hockey Coaches Association Academic Squad selection.
As a senior, Turner was the 2011 BIG EAST Co-Offensive Player of the year and a second team National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-American. The four-year starter was a three-time NFHCA All-Region and All- BIG EAST selection. She led the Cardinals in scoring and finished her career with 39 goals and ranked fifth on the school's career list. Her 32 career assists place her fourth on the all-time list and is third with 110 career points.
