Field Hockey Alumnae Weekend in the Books

The University of Louisville field hockey team held the 2012 Louisville Field Hockey Alumnae weekend April 21-22.
The weekend drew over twenty-five alumnae and their families back to Louisville for an action packed game. The alumnae were coached by Debbie Condreva, who served as both an Assistant and Head Coach from 1979-1985.
After the game, the alums and current players and staff gathered for a cookout where they had the opportunity to introduce themselves to the current team and reminisce with old friends. Although the weather was a bit chilly, it did not put a damper on a great evening that was capped off with the Thunder Over Louisville Derby Festival fireworks.
The following day a group of alumnae enjoyed a behind the scenes tour of the downtown YUM! Arena. The weekend also served as the final spring competition day for the current team.
The Cardinals will open the 2012 season on August 24th at Trager Stadium against the Northeastern Huskies.
