Rowing Drops Races to No. 2 Michigan, Michigan State

SALON, Iowa - The Louisville rowing team dropped a set of races against No. 2 Michigan and a set of races to Michigan State on Saturday at Lake Macbride.
During the morning session against the Spartans, the Cardinals' varsity eight boat was beaten by just 3.3 seconds. Louisville also dropped second varsity eight, varsity four, second varsity and novice eight races during the first session. During the afternoon racing, all five Louisville boats suffered losses to the second ranked Wolverines.
Up next, the Louisville varsity rowing team will travel to California for the UCLA SoCal Challenge on April 14. The Cardinals' novice team will next compete at the SIRA Championships on April 21-22 in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
