
Dorward Moves into First Place at USF

Dade City, fla. - University of Louisville senior Justin Dorward moved into first place overall after two rounds at the USF Invitational on Monday at the Lake Jovita Country Club in Dade City.
The Cardinals, who were tied for 10th after the first round, improved 20 shots to move into seventh place. The Cardinals have shot 304-284=588 and are 19 shots behind leader UCF, who are at 569.
Dorward, who was tied for fifth after Sunday's round, came back with a round of 67 to take a two-shot lead over Chris Pledger of Arkansas State and Brad Schneider of UCF.
Junior Chris Malec moved up to 10th overall after shooting 68. He improved seven shots from Sunday after opening up with 75.
Freshman Henry Tomlinson is tied for 65th after shooting 78-76=154 and freshman Kyle Blackston is tied for 71st overall with his two-day total of 83-73=156.
Freshman Max Walz rounds out the top five for the Cardinals. He is tied for 78th after carding 81-76=157.
