Before Louisville: Golfed for Loy Brashear at John Hardin High School in Elizabethtown... played golf from 2004-09... member of all-state academic first team from 2005-09... regional runner-up from 2006-09... was state runner-up his senior year... made the all-state second team as a sophomore and junior and the all-state first team as a senior... named team player of the year his last three years of high school... top 40 finisher in the Optimist International Tournament... Florida Junior Golf champion... placed third at the TPC Sawgrass SJGT Tournament.
Personal: Son of David and Andrea Blackston... born 7/19/90... sport administration major... grandfather Bill Evans played baseball at Indiana University and continued to play in the minor leagues.
