Men's Tennis Signee Austin Siegel Earns Blue Chip Status

University of Louisville incoming freshman Austin Siegel has been named a `Blue Chip' player by Tennisrecruiting.net. Siegel is ranked 16th on the website's national recruiting list with an RPI of 27.
" I am very proud of Austin for accomplishing one of his goals which was to be rated a `Blue-Chip,'" said U of L head coach Rex Ecarma. "Blue chips are usually the Top 25 or so tennis recruits in America. It is definitely a badge of honor in the world of USA junior tennis. Austin has excellent results in October and November which propelled him to this status. I am confident there will be even better results from him this spring. He and our other three recruits will be a great addition to our great freshman class called the 'New Generation.'"
