
Men's Golf Stands in Second Place at WKU

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- - The Louisville men's golf team is in second place in the standings following the second day of the WKU/Kenny Perry Invitational at The Club at Olde Stone in Bowling Green, Ky.
The extremely tough course, the site of two previous NCAA Regionals, played better on Monday after Sunday's rough conditions drove up the scores. The Cardinals shot 308 on Monday and are nine shots behind current-leader Jacksonville State, who fired 614 after the first two rounds.
After shooting 315 on Sunday, the Cardinals fared better during Monday's round. Robin Sciot-Siegrist is currently tied for fifth-place overall after shooting 79-75=154 after the first two rounds of play.
Henry Tomlinson fired 78-77=155 and is tied for eighth, while Henry Tomlinson and Antoine Le Saux are tied for ninth place. Walz cared 81-76=157, while Le Saux fired 77-80=157. Trevor Sluman rounded out the top five for the Cardinals by shooting 81-80=161 and is tied for 21st place.
The third round begins on Tuesday at 9:00am EST.
