Men's Tennis Releases 2011-12 Fall Schedule

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - - University of Louisville men's tennis coach Rex Ecarma has announce the 2011-12 fall schedule. The Cards will host a tournament in September, October and November.
"We have a very busy fall tennis schedule," said Ecarma. "Since this is the youngest team I have had in 22 years, I need to get them as much match experience as possible and this schedule addresses that. We also need to give our senior class some quality tournaments so they have multiple chances to get ranked. This team has been fun to coach and I am very excited about them."
The Cardinals return six letterwinners from last season during which they posted an 18-12 record and won their second straight BIG EAST Conference title en route to their eighth NCAA tournament appearance. U of L was ranked as high as No. 13 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings and finished the season at No. 24.
