LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's tennis team is set to host the 2011 Louisville Fall Invitational Sept. 16-18. Matches will be outdoors at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center."I am excited that a new era begins with Louisville Tennis," said U of L head coach Rex Ecarma. "With seven freshman, fans have some new faces to get used to. The personality of this team seems to be humble and hungry. Not only are they the youngest team, I've in 22 seasons, they may be the hardest working. They are making it fun for the coaching staff. This invitational will not be easy to say the least but will be a good first test in most of these players first college start."
This year's tournament will feature two divisions in singles and doubles with main draw and consolation play. The field includes players from nine teams from around the region: Austin Peay, Cleveland State, Kenyon College, Louisville, Morehead State, Murray State, Western Kentucky and Wright State.
