
Men's Golf Opens Fall Season in Seventh at Marshall

Louisville, Ky. - - The University of Louisville men's golf team kicked off the fall season Monday and are in seventh place after the first two rounds of the 42nd-annual Marshall Invitational in Huntington, W.Va. The Cardinals carded an 285-279--564 on the par 71, 6,534-yard course at Guyan Country Club.
Senior Justin Dorward paced the Cardinals by carding 70-69=139 to sit in a tie for 11th-place, while Henry Tomlinson is tied for 16th at 71-69=140.
Nick Umholtz 73-69=142 is tied for 24th after shooting 73-69=142, while Charlie Macneal and Kyle Blackston are tied for 37th after shooting 144.
The final round continues Tuesday at 8 a.m. at the Guyan Country Club.
