LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The 28th-ranked Louisville baseball team will host Indiana on Tuesday at 6 p.m., ET on "Cancer Awareness Night" at Jim Patterson Stadium.
The Cardinals will wear commemorative black jerseys and hats featuring pink lettering during the game and fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of cancer awareness. Admission is free.
Pink lemonade will be sold during Tuesday's game and $1 from every sale will go to support Home Runs for Hope, a fundraiser with all of the proceeds benefiting Gilda's Club of Louisville. Gilda's Club seeks to provide an emotional and social support community for people living with cancer as well as their friends and families, as an essential complement to medical care. Anyone who purchases pink lemonade at Tuesday's game will also be entered to win a $125 gift card from Shane Co.
The Louisville baseball team encourages all cancer survivors to join them at Jim Patterson Stadium on Tuesday for a special evening at the ballpark.
