
Men's Golf Concludes Second Round of Furman Intercollegiate

Greenville, S.C. - The University of Louisville men's golf team moved up one spot on the leaderboard into 20th place after two days at the Furman Intercollegiate held at the par-72 6,994-yard Furman Golf Club in Greenville, S.C.
The Cardinals shot a 295 in the second round, a 14 stroke improvement from day one, bringing the Cardinals' two-day total to 604. Nine of the 22 teams have a two round totals ranging from 599-603. Kennesaw State and Virginia Tech lead the field at 4-under par with one round remaining.
Junior Justin Dorward continues to lead the Cardinals after a 1-over 73 in the second round and is tied for 41st. Senior Karsten Clements shot par in the second round, improving six strokes from round one and is currently tied for 54th. Charlie Macneal and Chris Malec both fired a 75 in the second round and sit in ties for 68th and 87th, respectively. Sebastian Szirmak rounded out the Cardinal team players with a second round score of 81 and is tied for 115th.
Chris Biuso, competing as an individual, carded a 75 in the second round and is tied for 54th.
