
Men's Golf in Sixth Place at ODU

POWELLS POINT, NC - - The University of Louisville men's golf team improved by two strokes to climb into sixth place after day two of the ODU/Outerbanks Collegiate held at the par-72, 6,535-yard Kilmarlic Golf Club on Monday.
Liberty leads the field at 557, while Louisville sits 27 strokes behind at 584. Georgia and Winthrop are in second and third place after day two totals. The Cardinals, who shot 293 on Sunday, improved to 291 on Monday to move up two places.
Justin Dorward leads the Cardinals after shooting par in the first round, but came back to shoot 70 on Monday to stand in a tie for ninth place. Henry Tomlinson and Daniel Iceman are tied for 26th with their 147. Chris Biuso is tied for 33rd after shooting 74-74=148 and Charlie Macneal is in 68th after 74-80=154.
Third round action begins at 8:30 a.m. on Monday. Live scoring is available through www.Golfstat.com. The Cardinals tee off on the front nine at 9:15 a.m.
