
Men's Golf Finishes Sixth at ODU-Outerbanks Collegiate

POWELLS POINT, NC - The University of Louisville men's golf team concluded its fall season on Tuesday with a sixth place showing at the ODU-Outerbanks Collegiate at Kilmarlic Golf Club. The Cardinals fired a 292 in the final round to finish 293-291-292=876.
Georgia captured the team title with a three-day total of 834 to hold off runner-up Liberty by three strokes.
Senior Justin Dorward notched his ninth-career top 10 finish after shooting 3-under 69 in the final round. Dorward finished at 5-under par, 72-70-69=211 and placed fifth.
Daniel Iceman shot a 2-over 74 and finished tied for 26th. Iceman shot 74-74-73=221. Chris Biuso carded a 75 in the final round to finish 74-74-75=223. Biuso tied for 40th. Henry Tomlinson tied for 48th after firing a 78 in the final round. Tomlinson carded 73-74-78=225. Charlie Macneal improved by five strokes from the second round by shooting a 75 in the third round. Macneal tied for 62nd after rounds of 74-80-75=229.
The Cardinals' spring season begins on February 20 at the Francis Marion Invitational.
