Men's Tennis to Host Invitational This Weekend

2011-12 Louisville Winter Invitational Draw 
"It's always exciting to host an invitational on your home court," said U of L head coach Rex Ecarma. "It is fun for the players and the fans especially with so many of our players competing in their first year. It would be great if we can dominate it like we did in the tournament last month, but we have to take it one match at a time. It helped that we got off to such a good start when we won 14 matches in a row. I think we can do well and I am excited about which players will make a breakthrough."
This year's tournament will feature two divisions in both singles and doubles with main draw and consolation play. The field includes 10 teams from around the region: Bellarmine, Belmont, Butler, IU-Southeast, Kentucky, Louisville, Morehead State, West Alabama, Wright State and Xavier.
First round doubles action will begin at 9:00 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14.
