
Foley Leads Nation In Goals Per Game

For the second straight week, University of Louisville lacrosse attacker Bergan Foley leads the nation in goals per game with an average of 4.57 per game. She is also ranked No. 7 in the NCAA Division I in total goals (32).
She finished last season fifth in the nation with 3.81 goals per contest, and led the national her freshman year with 4.07 goals per contest. Foley has notched 154 goals over her prestigious career and is on the Tewaaraton Trophy watch list. She has scored in 14 straight games and 37 of her 38 career games.
Katie Oliverio is 17th in assists with 17 and 23rd in points per game. She has already tripled her assist total from last season and has passed Tara Restly for the school record for most assists. Oliverio dished out a school record for assists in a game with five against Manhattan, during a 19-6 Cardinal triumph.
Ashley King is No. 12 in caused turnovers per game with 2.14. She is also ranked in ground balls (72nd).
As a team, U of L is ranked eighth in scoring offense (15.0 per game), and 11th in both caused turnovers and ground balls.
