
Men's Golf Finishes Third at Mobile Bay

Mobile, Ala. - The University of Louisville men's golf team finished its first tournament of the spring by ending the day in third place at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate Tuesday in Mobile, Ala.
The Cardinals finished with 299-286-294=882, which was three strokes ahead of fourth-place Vanderbilt. Mississippi captured the tournament win, defeating the Cardinals by just five strokes with 877.
Sophomore Chris Biuso was solid by tying for third overall by shooting 71-73-71=215, while sophomore Riley Wheeldon ended the day in a tie for 14th-place overall with 76-70-74=220. Junior Karsten Clements rallied to tie for 18th place by carding 74-75-72=221. -
Sophomore Justin Dorward (80-70-78=228) and junior Aaron Sherry (78-73-77=228) rounded out the top five by tying for 52nd-place.
Louisville will be back in action on March 5-7 in Tampa, Fla., at the Ron Smith Intercollegiate.
