Tampa, Fla. - The University of Louisville men's golf team is tied for 12th-place at the USF Invitational in Dade City, Fla.
The Cardinals didn't finish the first round due to darkness, but are tied for 12th place with Columbus State, Rhode Island and Cincinnati. The Cardinals are just eight strokes behind the leader, North Florida, who shot 286.
Junior Karsten Clements is tied for 19th-place after shooting 72, while sophomores Riley Wheeldon and Chris Biuso are tied for 33rd place after shooting 73,
Aaron Aherry is tied for 74th with his 76 and Justin Dorward in in 104th place after shooting 80.
The rest of the 23-team field will continue play on Saturday with team times beginning at 7:30 a.m.
