
Lacrosse to Host Dinner and Auction

The University of Louisville Lacrosse Crease Club Dinner will feature an auction of unique items including Olympic Memorbilia at the event, Thursday, February 18 at 6 p.m. , in the YUM! Center.
The doors open at 6:00 with the silent auction running from 6-6:45 followed by dinner beginning at 6:45 p.m.
Auction items highlights include a personalized US Olympic Women's Ice Hockey player's stick signed by the entire team, Zoom Whitening at the Louisville Center for Cosmetic Dentistry, two Persimmon Ridge Gold Club certificates good for a round of gold with cart, free individual tax return preparation, a YUM! Brands basket, a Charlie Strong autographed football, a Rick Pitino signed basketball along with many other items and coupons for free nights at local hotels, local entertainment and eateries.
Head Coach Kellie Young will present the 2010 squad to the Louisville Community and share her outlook on the coming season. Team captains Bergan Foley, Ashley King, Colleen Nevin and Jamie Ward will share their perspectives on the team, their Louisville experience and the 2010 journey.
Tables of 10 can be reserved for $400 and individual tickets are $40 each. For reservations please email specialevents@louisville.edu by Monday at noon.
All proceeds from the dinner and silent auction will benefit the UofL Lacrosse Team.
The Cardinals open their season Friday, February 19 against the Pioneers of Sacred Heart University. The first draw will lift at 3:00 pm in the lacrosse complex adjacent to the YUM! Center. The team will turn around within 24 hours to take on the Manhattan College Jaspers on Saturday, February 20th at 2:00 pm.
