
Swimming and Diving Climb in National Rankings

The University of Louisville men's and women's swimming and diving teams are both ranked in the top 25 national poll. The Cardinal men are ranked No. 18 and the women are at No. 17.
There was no change at the top of the latest TYR / CSCAA Division I Swimming & Diving Polls. The defending men's NCAA Champion University of Texas maintained their top spot while Stanford University continued to lead the women's poll.
The USC men made the biggest gain, moving up six spots while Louisville and the Ohio State University moved up three spaces in the women's poll. In all, 68 women's and 56 men's teams garnered votes from members of the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. The next poll will be released January 17, 2010.
