
Men's Golf Tied for Third at ODU

Powells Point, N.C. - The University of Louisville men's golf team improved two spots at the Old Dominion/Outer Banks Intercollegiate at the par-72 6,535-yard Kilmarlic Golf Course and stand in a tie for third-place in the 18-team field at the conclusion of the second round with a team score of six-under 570.
The Cardinals sit 18 strokes behind East Carolina who have shot a 552 through the first two rounds. The Pirates expanded their lead to 16-strokes over second place Liberty. Richmond is currently tied with U of L for third place.
Junior Chris Biuso led the Cardinals in the second round, following up his first round score of 70 with a second round score of three-under 69. Biuso currently stands in a tie for fifth after being in a tie for 17th at the conclusion of the first round. Senior Karsten Clements is next in-line, sitting in a tie for ninth after shooting a 73 in the second round. Juniors Justin Dorward and Sebastian Szirmak are both currently tied for 27th overall. Dorward fired a 73 in the second round while Szirmak added a 72. Sophomore Chris Malec rounds out the scoring for the Cardinals, moving up three spots to a tie for 72 after shooting a 76 in the second round.
