"I am extremely proud Andrew for winning this big tournament," said U of L head coach Rex Ecarma. "There were a lot of very talented players in it and he came out the champion and that speaks volumes. Coach DaSilva and I noticed how much improvement he showed in both semesters. He really embraced our system and style of coaching and soaked it up like a sponge. Our strength coach, Mary Kate, always raved about his improvement in the weight room. Now, he is putting all of it together and winning. He is also an honor student and a great representative of U of L."
