
Louisville Rowing's Grace Earns Outstanding Senior Athlete Award

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville rowing senior Lisa Grace was awarded the Outstanding Senior Athlete Award at the athletic department's annual Red & Black Banquet on March 1.
The honor is awarded each year to the athlete or athletes with the GPA's. Grace, from Shepherdsville, Ky., has a 3.971 GPA in nursing.
"Lisa has been a high-level performer both in the classroom and in her training," said Louisville rowing head coach Laura Fogt. "She has shown excellence in the classroom throughout her career at Louisville and it was an honor to see her presented with this prestigious award. I am extremely proud of the effort and energy she puts in to excelling in her academic and athletic endeavors."
The Cards will open the spring season with a training trip to Oak Ridge, Tenn., on March 14-20, which will include races against Duke and Buffalo on March 15.
