
Louisville Lacrosse Releases 2008 Fall Exhibition Schedule

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville lacrosse head coach Kellie Young has released the Cards' 2008 fall exhibition schedule, highlighted by a home date with Vanderbilt on Sept. 27.
The Cards will open the fall schedule against the Commodores at 12:30 p.m. ET, on Sept. 27 at the UofL Lacrosse Stadium and will close the fall with a rematch against Vanderbilt on Oct. 22 in Nashville, Tenn.
Along with the games against Vandy, the Cards will travel to the Towson University Tournament on Oct. 11 in Towson, Md., and the George Mason Tournament on Oct. 18 in Fairfax, Va.
The Cards completed their inaugural season in 2008 with a 12-4 record overall, including five straight wins to close the campaign. The 2009 season will be Louisville's first as a BIG EAST Conference squad. The Cards will be eligible to earn a spot in the league's four-team, post-season tournament, with the winning squad earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships.
