
Men's Golf Finishes Third at Wolf Run

Zionsville, Ind. - The University of Louisville men's golf team opened the fall season by placing third at the Wolf Run Tournament on Sunday at Indiana University.
The Cardinals, who were just three shots back heading into the final round on Sunday, shot 308 as a team under some severe weather conditions. The Cardinals finished 11 shots behind tournament champion Michigan and one stroke back of second-place Illinois.
Senior Adam Hadwin, who was tied for second after the first two rounds, shot 80 on Sunday and fell to ninth overall. He fired 73-69-80=222. Freshman Connor Arendell tied for 17th place with his 76-73-75=224, while freshman Riley Wheeldon was tied for 19th with his 78-71-76=225.
Sophomore Lewis Kirton was tied for 37th with 81-72-77=230 and Karsten Clements was tied for 42nd after carding 71-77-84=232.
