Louisville, Ky. - Head Coach Kelly Rothberg announced the addition of Daphne Parker to the University of Louisville women's golf team. Parker transfers to Louisville after playing two seasons for the BYU women's golf team. Parker, formerly Daphne Vines, married Matthew Parker in June and relocated to Louisville while her husband attends the University of Louisville's Dentistry School.
"Daphne was an unexpected surprise for us," said Rothberg. "We are so excited to have a player with her experience and talent joining our team. She is a very competitive player that will fit in great with our team. She will definitely add strength to our lineup next season."
Parker was a starter for the Cougars the last two seasons. As a sophomore she finished with four Top 10 finishes and a stroke average of 76.15.
