UofL Rowing Announces 2007-08 Novice Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville rowing program has announced the roster for the Cards' 2007-08 novice team. Overall, 30 women were selected to be part of the U of L novice rowing program this season.
The U of L rowing program will next host Red-Black Intrasquad Scrimmage on Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Cardinal Boathouse on River Road.

Messages from U of L novice coach Andrea Buch
- Congratulations! See you at the boathouse on Monday, either from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. or 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Be there early so we can start on time.
- Directions to the boathouse are on the rowing webpage at http://uoflsports.cstv.com/sports/w-rowing/spec-rel/042302aab.html.
- There will be a mandatory swim test on Monday at 8 p.m. ET at the Ralph Wright Natatorium on the U of L campus. 50m swim and tread water for 10 minuets. Be sure to wear workout clothes (shorts/spandex and t-shirt) for the test.
- If you need a ride and are in the dorms, drop Shelby an email at ssrower15@hotmail.com. She has room for five in her car.
- Thank you everyone for coming out and the great attitude and enthusiasm you brought to this week. If you didn't make the team and are still interested, there will be tryouts again in the spring. Watch the web page for details.
