
Lacrosse to Host Public Practice Sept. 15

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville lacrosse program will offer Cardinal fans an opportunity to see the program's first varsity team during an open practice session on Saturday, Sept. 15 from 9:30 a.m. ET to Noon at the U of L Lacrosse Stadium. There will also be a free, 45-minute stick skill clinic following the practice. Participants are encouraged to bring their own stick and protective gear.
Fans will see head coach Kellie Young's first team in preparation for the program's inaugural season in the spring of 2008. The Cards will also play several fall events with more details to come.
The U of L Lacrosse Stadium is located on South Floyd St., on the U of L campus near the newly constructed Yum! Center, which houses the Cardinal lacrosse program's coaches' offices and training areas.
