
Cards' Men's Golf In Third Place in Fall Opener

TOLEDO, Ohio - The University of Louisville's men's golf team is in third place in the team standings and Cardinal senior Adam Rainaud is in fifth place in the team standings after the first two rounds of the Inverness Intercollegiate at the Inverness Club. The Cardinals are ten strokes behind the leaders from Florida State, while Michigan State is in second.
Rainaud fired a 70-72=142 and is seven shots behind Jonas Blixt of Florida State, who has a seven-under par total of 135 during the first 36 holes of play.
Cardinal senior Daryl Fathauer is in a tie for 18th place in the individual standings with a two-round total of 145, while Derek Fathauer is tied for 20th after shooting 146. Senior Andrew Freeman is tied for 34th with 149 and junior Adam Hadwin is tied for 49th.
