
Men's Golf Finishes Fifth at Inverness

TOLEDO - - Senior Derek Fathauer of the University of Louisville men's golf team tied for tenth place as the Cardinals finished fifth at the Inverness Intercollegiate on Tuesday in Toledo, Ohio.
Derek fired 72-74-71=217 for the tournament, but the Cardinals, who entered the final day in third place slipped to fifth.
Junior Adam Hadwin fired 81-70-71=222 and senior Andrew Freeman shot 77-72-73=222 to tie for 22nd overall. Senior Adam Rainaud, who started the day in the top 10, shot a final round 82 to finish with 222 and a tie for 30th.
Senior Daryl Fathauer rounded out the top five with 71=74-82=227 to tie for 50th place overall.
