Men's Golf Finishes in a tie for Third

DORADO, Puerto Rico - - Sophomores Derek and Daryl Fathauer of the University of Louisville men's golf team both finished in a tie for 10th place in the Hyatt Plantation Club Intercollegiate in Dorado, Puerto Rico on Tuesday.
As a team, the Cardinals tied for third place with Charlotte with a score of 856. Texas Tech won the tournament with a score of 843, while Kentucky was second at 854.
Daryl Fathauer fired a third round score of 71 to finish with 213, while Derek also shot 213 with a final round score of 72.
Senior Brent Holmes played well on Tuesday, firing a final round score of 70 to tie for 14th place with a 214. Freshman Adam Hadwin was tied for 26th overall by shooting 75-73-70=218. Sophomore Andrew Freeman was tied for 41st with 79-71-74=224.
The Cardinals will compete in the Ron Moore Invitational in Phoenix Arizona, on March 20-21.
