Woo Leads Men's Golf To Fifth-Place Finish

Knoxville, Tenn. - The University of Louisville men's golf team finished tied for fifth at Coca-Cola Tournament of Champions title with a 289-296-281=866 at Holston Hills Country Club (par 71, 6,932 yards).
After experiencing a rain delay of close to two hours, the teams began the final round of play at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. The rain was off and on for the first part of the round, but held off for the remainder of the round.
Leading the way for the Cardinals was senior Charlie Woo and freshman Daryl Fathauer. Woo tied for third place after shooting 71-70-69=210 for his third top five finish this fall. Fathauer tied for 14th overall after firing 74-72-69=215.
Senior Brett Jones tied for 34th after shooting 72-76-72=220, while Derek Fathauer was 37th overall, carding 72-79-70-221. Freshman Adam Rainaud was 69th after shooting 231.
The Cardinals will compete in their final fall event on November 1-2 at the Fall Beach Classic.
