Cardinal Rowing Announces 2003-04 Novice Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville rowing program has announced the addition of 30 student-athletes to its 2003-04 novice team following last week's tryouts.
A compliance and team meeting for all novice members is set for Monday, September 8 at 5:00 p.m. at the KFEC Cardinal Sports Complex. Team members should enter the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center through Gate 4 (off Crittenden Drive), proceed through the gate and park in front of the athletic building with the red awning. A swimming test will be conducted at Crawford Pool following the meeting (bring a swim suit!).
If you can not make this meeting, please call Laurie Featherstone Sunday at 852-8121 to arrange a time on Monday where you will visit with a member of the compliance staff at the SAC on the second floor of athletics. This meeting needs to be completed before practice starts. Also bring a copy of your class schedule, along with a date book and note paper for a brief rowing meeting following the compliance meeting. Practice begins Tuesday afternoon at the boathouse on River Road.
Congratulations to this group. We thank all those for coming out to tryouts and best of luck in your school year. For those not selected we encourage to try it again for the next year.
