2025:Â Hannah was voted ACC Defensive Player of the Week two times and was third in the ACC in blocks/set at 1.44 and third in total blocks (174). She ranked No. 19 in the nation in blocks/set and No. 7 in total blocks. She tied the school record for blocks in a match with 14 versus Georgia Tech and had 11 blocks against Kentucky, 13 blocks against North Carolina, and 10 against Wake Forest. She started every match in 2025 and had .471 hitting against Northern Iowa (9-1-17), .800 versus Clemson (4-0- 5), .857 against Marquette (6-0-7). She had a season-high 15 points against rival Kentucky. Hannah was named to the 2026 ACC Excellence Award List
2024: Hannah played in 58 sets in 2024, recorded 53 kills on 119 attempts for a .261 hitting percentage. She had 88 total blocks with 15 of those being solos. She recorded a game high of nine blocks against Virginia with three solos, and had eight blocks twice, against Georgia Tech and South Dakota. Hannah had a season-high nine kills in the opener against South Dakota and had seven kills against Notre Dame. She had at least two solo blocks in five matches in 2024. Hannah was also named to the All-ACC Academic Team for her efforts in the classroom.Â
2023: Hannah played in 19 sets this year as middle blocker. She had a season-high four kills against Syracuse. She hit .500 versus Virginia (2-0-4). She had three digs and recorded 25 total blocks. She had a career-high seven blocks against Wright State and had five blocks against both Syracuse and Boston College. She scored 31.5 points last season. She was invited to the USA Volleyball Women’s National Team Open Program that trained in Colorado Springs in February of 2024.

Prep: Hannah Sherman, a 6-3 middle blocker from Silver Springs, MD, played for Coach Sylvia Johnson on Metro VBC. As the starting middle hitter on her club team, she ranked 5th in the nation and helped her team qualify for USAV Nationals each year. In 2017 and 2019, she was named the best blocker of the Capitol Hill Volleyball Classic. Her 16’s year, Sherman was ranked #45 in the Top 150 list for the class of 2022.
