Emily Lepping is entering her second year as a lead dietitian for the University of Louisville baseball, field hockey, track and field and volleyball teams.
Lepping also manages the UofL undergraduate and graduate student interns. Her focuses include performance nutrition, women's health, and gut health.
The Louisville native began her career at the University of Louisville in 2017 as an intern and went on to serve as a graduate assistant. She joined the department as a full-time staff member in July 2020. During her time with the Cardinals, she has also worked with the UofL football, golf, softball and rowing teams.
Lepping graduated from Western Kentucky University with bachelor’s degrees in nutrition and dietetics and Spanish. While at WKU, she also worked with Hilltoppers’ football program as a nutrition intern. She completed her dietetic internship at the University of Houston and became a registered dietitian nutritionist in 2018.
In 2020, Lepping earned her master’s degree in exercise physiology with a concentration in strength and conditioning from UofL
