2009: Anastasia Artemeva played int 106 matches and had 179 kills, hitting . 168 with 55 total blocks. She notched nine kills against Notre Dame in the BIG EAST semifinal. She had 12 kills against in-state rival Kentucky on Sept. 16th, and had 11 kills twice and 10 kills four times on the season. She has recorded two digs five times during the season and had seven total blocks against Kentucky. She tallied five kills against Jacksonville State on Nov. 28 and recorded one kill in the NCAA Tournament against Minnesota
2008: Anastasia started and played in 55 sets as a sophomore. She missed 14 matches that year due to a stress fracture, but returned in early November near the end stretch of the BIG EAST regular season run. In the BIG EAST tournament, she came off the bench and had seven kills and three blocks against Syracuse. She had five kills and threeblocks versus Pitt. In the BIG EAST Final, she had four kills and a block. Against Purdue, in the first round of the NCAA, she had 15 kills and two blocks. For the season, she had 109 kills on 305 swings for a hitting percentage of .174. She recorded seven blocks and 20 block assists. She had a season high two aces at Indiana. Against Illinois State, she had 10 kills, hit .400 and had a block.
2007:Anastasia did not compete.
High School: Anastasia was a rare find, having never played club ball, playing instead for her school, Secondary School #29 in Ulyanovsk, Russia for coach Gennadiy Vasilevich. One of Coach Yelin's former teammates from his playing days called him and gave him the tip about her. Having never played out of Ulynovsk, which is two days away from Moscow, kept her off the recruiting radar.
