High School: Tomko, who was a four-year varsity starter at setter for Thomas Jefferson High School, played her club ball with Renaissance Volleyball Club. In her four years at Jefferson, the Jaguars posted a 47-7 record. She was named All-Conference all four years and was All-Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic League as both a junior and senior. She was named to the All-State team the past two seasons as well. A member of both the 2005 and 2006 South Fayette All-Tournament Team, she was named Big 7 Tournament MVP in 2006 and 2007. The team captain, Tomko was named Seneca Valley Tournament MVP in 2006 and was a two-time regional All-Star.

Personal: Daughter of Keith and Cindy Tomko. She was born January 9, 1990. She plans on majoring in biology.
