2012: Battling knee trouble, she played in 19 matches for the Cards last season. She posted at total of 53 kills (1.13/set) and had 17 blocks in 47 sets. She set a season high with six kills against Middle Tennessee and had four blocks against both UNLV and Notre Dame.
2011: As a sophomore at Tennessee, Carly started 21 matches, recording 153 kills (2.19/set), hitting .288 and notching 11 service aces and 173 digs. She had one solo block and 27 block assists. She was third on the team in hitting percentage and was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week for Sept. 26 and recorded five double doubles. She was named to the 2011 Comcast Lady Vols Classic All-Tournament Team.
2010: As a freshman at Tennessee, Carly played in 58 games and recorded 62 kills (1.07/game) with 18 blocks. She was named to the 2010 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.
High School: Carly was rated as the 32nd-best senior in the country by PrepVolleyball.com and was a three-time all-area selection and four-year starter for Bartlett H.S. under coach Brandon Muler. She led the Fox Valley region in kills as a senior with 422 in 848 attempts, while hitting at a blistering .357 clip. She also topped her squad with 144 digs and 58 aces and contributed 24 solo blocks while guiding the Hawks to a 21-12 record as a junior. She posted totals of 371 kills, 146 digs, 86 aces and 42 blocks before being named second team all-state by the Champaign News-Gazette and unanimously voted an All-Upstate Eight Conference choice. Selected to train and compete with the USA Volleyball High Performance Select A1 program in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in 2007, she played on the Sports Performance Volleyball Club's 16 and 18-Elite squads. Helping lead the club team to the 2010 18-Open AAU national championship, her team also won tournaments at the President's Day Challenge in Chicago and The Showcase in Wisconsin en route to a final record of 65-7 that year. He club coach was Rick Butler. Carly was named to the all-tournament team for the 16-Open Junior Volleyball Director's Association Championships in 2008.
Personal: She is the daughter of Bill and Sue Sahagian. She was born April 7, 1992. She plans on majoring in psychology or sports nutrition.
