As a sophomore (2022): Played in the games against Florida Atlantic, Bethune-Cookman and Ohio State.
As a freshman (2021): Played in 38 games with 21 starts... Scored eight runs and drove in six... Connected on a two-run homer for her first career dinger in the Cardinals 9-5 win at Pitt (4/5)... Registered two doubles in the 8-0 win against Valpo (3/13)... Drove in two runs in the 8-1 win against Bellarmine (3/9)... Scored two runs against Bradley (3/5)... Scored first career run in the 8-4 loss at NC State (2/19)... Connected on first career hit - and finished the game 2-for-3 in the 5-4 win at NC State (2/20).

Personal: Full name is Taryn Layne Weddle… Nicknames: T-Wed or Tarzan… Born on September 4, 2001… Daughter of Melissa and Tony Weddle… Has three older siblings: Aaron, Morgan and Carlin… Majoring in public health… Greatest challenge she’s overcome was coming back from ankle reconstruction surgery and pushing herself to get back to 100 percent on the field… Fun fact - she was a concert cellist from fifth grade until her sophomore year in high school.
