As a freshman (2020): Played in 13 games with eight starts in the shortened season. Collected RBIs against Baylor (2/7) and No. 8/11 Michigan (2/16)... Registered a hit against Missouri (2/9).
At Louisville (2019): Sidelined due to injury.
High School/Juniors: Played for East Carter High School starting in the seventh grade… Helped her team to back-to-back 16th Region Championships and state tournament appearances... In 2016, the Lady Raiders registered a 34-0 record during the regular season and a No. 3 national ranking according to MaxPreps…. All-NFCA second All-South Region selection… First team all-state selection (2018)… Second team all-state honoree (2017)… Three-time all-region selection… Named to the all-district tournament team… East Carter’s Lady Raider of the Year… Team’s Defensive Player of the Year for three consecutive seasons… While playing for the Beverly Bandits, Mayo helped her travel team to a 2016 Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) national championship as well as the Triple Crown national title.
Personal: Full name is Eden Nicole Mayo… Birthdate is January 28, 2000… Daughter of Jody and Bub Mayo… Has two brothers, Blake and Michael… Majoring in dental hygiene… Chose UofL she because of the fan base and feels at home… Her family inspires her the most… Proudest moment of her life is signing to playing Division I softball… Favorite athlete is Kris Bryant… Before every game she prays… Her hobbies include going to the lake, kayaking and hammocking.
