Braden Connor enters his third season on staff at the University of Louisville under Pat Kelsey.Â

Connor was originally hired as the video coordinator before moving to Special Assistant to the Head Coach just three months after his hiring.He served in that role in his first season at Louisville before being moved to the Director of Operations title where he leads logistical efforts for the entire program.Â
Louisville finished the year 24-11 in Connor's second season on staff. The Cardinals finished sixth in the ACC after producing a n 11-7 record and advancing to the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament. Louisville captured its first NCAA Tournament win since 2017, defeating 11-seed South Florida in the first round as a 6-seed.Â
In Connor's first year at Louisville, the Cardinals produced a 27-8 record finishing second in the ACC with an 18-2 league record. UofL also finished runner-up in the league at the ACC Tournament, making the program's first-ever appearance in an ACC Championship game. The Cards earned an at-large bid in the NCAA Tournament as an eight-seed, returning to the Big Dance for the first time since 2019.Â
Connor served as Kelsey’s video coordinator at College of Charleston in 2023-24. Before that, he spent two years as a graduate manager on Kelsey’s staff.

Connor was a three-year captain for the Thomas More men’s basketball program, earning his bachelor’s degree in sport entertainment marketing and business administration.

The Cincinnati native participated in two national tournaments with the Saints, peaking as high as No. 18 in the national poll. He earned his graduate degree in communication from Charleston in 2023.
