Teddy O'Connor was hired in 2014 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Louisville. He also oversees the football team's sports science area -- using Catapult GPS systems to track data that is used to help further the student-athlete's performance.Â
Prior to Louisville, O'Connor spent one season at Western Kentucky, working directly with the football team and was the head strength and conditioning coach for the men's and women's tennis teams.
Before being hired at WKU, he spent three  years at Boston College, where he served as a strength and conditioning intern. He began his career with the Eagles dealing primarily with the Olympic sport teams in 2011 before joining the football staff for the 2013 and 2013 campaigns.
O'Connor was a volunteer assistant strength and conditioning coach at Newburyport High School in Massachusetts from 2008-11.
 O'Connor completed his master's degree in sport administration at Louisville in 2015. He completed his undergraduate degree from New Hampshire in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and exercise science.
A native of Newburyport, Mass., O'Connor has his CSCS certification from the NSCA and is also certified in CPR/AED.
