J.B. Lageman was hired in the spring of 2015Â and will serve as a quality control coach on defense at Louisville this season.
Lageman joins the defensive staff after two seasons at Concord, where he assisted on defense, guiding the Mountain Lions to an 11-0 record and a Mountain East Conference Champion-
ship.
Before joining the coaching ranks, Lageman played collegiately at West Virginia. Lageman, a former walk-on, earned a scholarship in his final two seasons, starting three games as a senior on defense, which finished third in the country in total defense.
Lageman earned his master’s degree from Louisville in the spring of 2018 after graduating with a degree in history from West Virginia in 2013.
