Nathan Miller is in his first season at the University of Louisville as an assistant athletic trainer working with the Cardinals’ field hockey team.
He comes to Louisville after spending six years at Saint Joseph's University where he worked primarily with the women's basketball and cheer and dance, men’s lacrosse and field hockey programs.
Miller began his time with the Hawks an athletic training intern in the fall of 2015 before joining the staff full-time as assistant athletic trainer in the spring of 2016.
A native of Monroe, Michigan, Miller earned his bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University in 2015 and his Master of Science in Sport Management, concentrating in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration, from California University of Pennsylvania in May 2019.
Miller is Level 1: IASTM Fundamentals Certified with the HawkGrips system and is Level 1 Blood Flow Restriction Certified for the Smart Tools system. He has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association since 2015 and a member of the College Athletic Trainers Society since 2019.
